Volunteer Fair

Have you ever thought about getting involved in volunteering?  Have you wanted to give something back, or learn a new skill in the process but have never found the right opportunity or even know where to start?  Well this year Maidenhead Festival is here to help.

Building on the success of the inaugural Festival Volunteer Fair in 2016 the team are thrilled to be hosting it yet again on Sunday 23rd July from 11am – 4.30pm inside the baby big top circus tent.

There is no better way to find out about the many local organisations who provide much needed support services to residents.  This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in volunteering to come along to this informal and friendly event to meet a wide range of local voluntary and community groups who are all looking for new volunteers.

Organisations confirmed for the Volunteer Fair so far include Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, The Stroke Association, Alzheimer Dementia Support 'ADS', Save the Children UK, WAM Get Involved (Slough CVS and Slough Windsor & Maidenhead Initiative 2017.

Maidenhead Festival is organised for the community, by the community, and we are proud to be able to support the many local charities and groups that work to make our society a better place to live.

The Volunteer Fair will run from 11am - 4.30pm on the Sunday only.
